Dear MMEA Members,

After much discussion about the impending snow overnight and tomorrow, as well as consultation with Symphony Hall, the MMEA Executive Board has made the decision to postpone the All-State Concert scheduled for tomorrow, March 4th.

This was a very difficult decision that we understand will have several impacts on our students, families and programs. However, our decision is based entirely on the safety of all students, families and directors who planned to travel to Boston tomorrow.

MMEA All-State Conference and All-State Concert Rehearsal Site Announcement

After exploring several different options over several months, we are excited to announce that the 2023 MMEA All-State Conference and All-State Rehearsals will be held at the Westford Regency Inn and Conference Center in Westford, MA on Thursday, March 2nd and Friday, March 3rd followed by the All-State Concert at Symphony Hall on Saturday, March 4th. This facility will allow us to house all of our conference sessions as well as provide space for all of our ensembles to rehearse in the same building on the same site.
