Call for Papers

The 2021 NAfME (Virtual) Eastern Division Conference, April 22-24
Submission Deadline: 11:59 p.m. EDT Friday, February 5
Proposals already submitted and indicated as “Research” in the original Eastern Division call will be carried forward for consideration as Posters. Researchers who wish their projects to be considered for Spoken Presentation should submit their proposals as indicated below.

Two types of research sessions will be held during the NAfME Eastern Division Conference in April of 2021:
(a) a Poster Session that includes completed unpublished research as well as projects in process, and
(b) a Spoken Presentation for selected completed and in-progress projects.

Authors whose papers are accepted for the Spoken Presentation Session must also present at the Poster Session. Authors must submit the following for review:
1. The following items:
1) Title of the abstract,
2) contact author’s name, institutional affiliation, email address, mailing address and
3) indicate one of the following:
--- (a) Please consider this submission for the Poster Session only OR
--- (b) Please consider this submission for both the Poster and Spoken Presentation sessions;
2. One page abstract that does not identify the author(s) in any way.
Include the title on the abstract. Abstract may not exceed 500 words. Abstract should include Purpose, methods, findings, as appropriate for the project.

The abstracts will be blind-reviewed by a committee comprising of several Eastern Division State Research Chairs. Notification of acceptance will be e-mailed to authors by March 1, 2021.
Submissions not adhering to these guidelines will be automatically rejected.
