Music educators who are new to the profession, changing districts, or changing to a new position are invited to the spring meeting of Embracing the New Music Educator. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet other music educators, and there will be a panel discussion with experienced music educators. Our discussion will focus on preparing for the job search.

Embracing the New Music Educator Program is a free mentoring program offering onsite classroom observations, onsite rehearsal clinics, mentoring via phone, email and video review. Embracing the New Music Educator Program has been formed through the collaboration of Northeastern District and Gordon College and is endorsed by the Massachusetts Music Educators Association.
ETNME focuses on connectivity: among those who are new to the world of music education; among those who teach in music education preparatory programs of colleges and universities; and among those mentors who wish to share their best teaching practices, wisdom and passion.
