Brookline Music School (BMS) seeks a GROUP PIANO TEACHER to teach piano classes for children ages 4 and above on Thursdays and Saturdays beginning in the fall of 2020. The successful applicant will have excellent piano and musical skills, an understanding of child development, and preferably experience with Gordon’s Music Learning Theory. Teaching takes place at Kennard House, our main location. QUALIFICATIONS Brookline Music School seeks an individual with a proven record of teaching early childhood music classes and/or piano who is passionate and committed to growing the BMS group piano program through solid pedagogy. Organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential in order to represent the school to our students’ families. An undergraduate degree in music education or a related music field is required; a graduate degree or the equivalent is preferred.
