Join Kids 4 Harmony, an El Sistema inspired music program celebrating 10 years of influence on youth growth and development through the discipline of music. The program supports youth and families struggling with poverty and other stressors. This teacher will lead school-aged string ensembles and string lessons focused on age appropriate skill development for young musicians and building community through ensemble playing. Experience in violin, viola, or cello, teaching music, and a belief in music as a vehicle for social change is a must. The Assistant Artistic Director will be responsible for collaborating with the Artistic Director in the development of Teaching Artists, including repertoire, concert planning, and musical assessment.

Experience leading and conducting ensembles; strong knowledge of music education curriculum and methodologies; strong knowledge of standard music pedagogy. Grant writing and fundraising experience would be a plus. Four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required; post-graduate degree preferred.
