Newton Public Schools is seeking an elementary music educator for a long-term leave of absence assignment, approximately early February through June 2023. This is a 4-day-a-week assignment (Tuesday-Friday).
Responsibilities include:
- K-5 General Music
- 3rd-grade recorder
- 4th-grade introductory chorus
- 5th-grade chorus
- String orchestra - 4th grade into lessons (method book: Sound Innovations), 5th-grade orchestra
- organization of end of year school concerts for 4th & 5th grade
