Indian Hill Music School Faculty Opening: Collaborative Pianist and Piano Instructor Start date: November, 2017 Indian Hill Music School, a community music school in Littleton, MA with a faculty of 60+ professional teaching artists, has an opening for a part-time Collaborative Pianist and Piano Instructor. The individual in this role will accompany students of all ages and ability levels in recitals and other school events. They will also, schedule permitting, teach private lessons to all levels of piano students, including young beginners, on Saturday afternoons. Indian Hill Music faculty members are responsible for: 1) inspiring and sharing their love of music with their students; 2) setting a high bar for students’ levels of technical skill and musicality; 3) clearly communicating expectations and working toward shared goals; and 4) advocating for their students to engage in additional IHM programs to deepen their musical development and their commitment to their studies. Ideal candidates should have a degree in music and a minimum of three years of teaching experience, and must be comfortable working with students of all ages and ability/experience levels.
