MMEA is excited to begin the process for the election of new board members. You can either get involved by running for a position or by serving on the nominating committee!

The positions opening starting in July 1, 2025 are
President-Elect
Clerk
Treasurer
Higher Education Representative
K-12 Administrative Representative
Each of these voting positions serves a two-year term on the Executive Board, except for the President-Elect which is a 6-year term.

The deadline to apply below is February 24th. All applications will be reviewed and selected by the Nominating Committee. Applicants will be notified of their status after the Committee makes their selections.

Serve on the Nominating Committee
We are also looking for people to serve on the nominating committee led by past president Dr. Heather Cote. Responsibilities include reviewing candidate applications between February 24-26, and a zoom meeting on Thursday, Feb 27th from 7:30-8:00 to create the final slate of candidates for presentation to the Executive Board for approval. Please email hcote@westwood.k12.ma.us by February 14th if you are interested.
